As Christian adults, we have a moral and legal responsibility for the spiritual, emotional and physical well being of minors and vulnerable adults as they participate in activities within or sponsored by our Diocese. Our parish is committed to provide a safe and nurturing environment. Every parish, school and Diocesan agency is responsible for administering the program. St. Paul implements training, screening, background checks and other procedures to reduce the risk of sexual abuse of children and vulnerable adults.
Safe Environment training must be updated yearly. If you need to update your training, you may go to: www.cathdal.org . Click Safe Environment and then click Online Update Training Modules. Pick one of the Six lessons:
1.) Adult Abuse
2.) Protecting your Children from Harm.
3.) What we can do about Child Abuse?
4.) Domestic Violence Training.
5.) I keep Safe Internet Safety Training.
6.) Senior and Telemarketing Fraud
Turn the test and/or certificate in to the Safe Environment Director, Beckie Soto. For questions and/or more information, please call 972-235-2598 or email Beckie Soto at Beckie@saintpaulchurch.org .
