Safe Environment
As Christian adults, we have a moral and legal responsibility for the spiritual, emotional and physical well being of minors and vulnerable adults as they participate in activities within or sponsored by our Diocese. Our parish is committed to provide a safe and nurturing environment. Every parish, school and Diocesan agency is responsible for administering the program. St. Paul implements training, screening, background checks and other procedures to reduce the risk of sexual abuse of children and vulnerable adults.
Safe Environment training must be updated yearly. If you need to update your training, you may go to: www.cathdal.org . Click Safe Environment and then go to Update Training. Pick one of the six lessons. Turn the test and/or certificate in to the Safe Environment Director, Beckie Soto. A Safe Environment class will be held August 24, 2010 at the Parish center at 7 PM room 3.
